All of our Business Analysts have experience across either Banking or Life & Pensions. A significant area of expertise is within regulatory compliance (Basel II & III, CRD IV, IFRS 9, Solvency II), reporting (COREP, FINREP, Pillar 3, etc.), and remediation. This domain knowledge enables our business analysts to quickly engage with their stakeholders and understand the issues at hand. Compliance to industry standard frameworks are ensured and the most suitable solutions are designed.
The vast majority of our Business Analysts have a technical background in business intelligence or analytics. Many are highly experienced systems integrators with specialist knowledge of our partners’ software products or data analysts with an array of technical skills on hand. This allows them to capture the most relevant information during requirements elicitation, have an awareness of the constraints of the solution, or provide detailed data analysis and insight into our clients’ ever-growing legacy systems.
Every Business Analyst at Business Data Partners has received training in the fundamentals of business analysis, from requirements elicitation and process modelling to stakeholder management and business case development. They are comfortable working within either agile or traditional delivery frameworks, and many have professional qualifications within business analysis (BCS), risk (GARP) or project governance (Prince II).
