Last month 5 BDP Chester consultants face the Tough Mudder up North Challenge in aid of our charity partner The Whitechapel Centre. Read on to see how the team did.
George Whybrow, our Chester CSR rep, organised the team to participate in this event to support The Whitechapel Centre in Liverpool. Convincing teammates Murat Aykit, Jon Maryniak, Natasha de la Fuente, and Michael Donohue was the easy part!
On a sunny September Saturday, a 5 strong team of BDP consultants completed the Tough Mudder up North Challenge. The 16-kilometre course involved crawling through mud, climbing and swinging on ropes, swimming in (and under!) icy water, and trying to not get zapped by electric wires among other things.
Following the successful completion of the challenge, we’re thrilled to say the Chester CSR team raised a total of £780 for The Whitechapel Centre. This will go directly towards initiatives such as:
- Providing breakfasts
- Purchasing sleeping bags
- Holding welfare advice sessions
- And so much more.
Congratulations to the team on their mammoth effort, both on and off the course!
